ABOLISH I/C/E Tote Bags

$25.00

Screenprinted Canvas Tote Bags, 15"W x 16"H x 3"G.

Image contains collage from Diego Rivera’s Jaguar Warrior mural painting. The mural is called "Indian Warrior" from 1931 and it depicts an Aztec Jaguar Knight defeating a Spanish conquistador, symbolizing the Mesoamerican struggle against European colonization. Rivera painted it as a portable fresco panel, which is a smaller version of a section in his larger mural cycle at the Palacio de Cortés in Cuernavaca, Mexico. The Jaguar Knight is shown using a stone knife to stab the armored Spaniard, whose steel sword is broken on the ground.
